The Great Escape is a production showcasing the true life stories of three young people from our communities. The Great Escape is a play about youth suicide and the struggles and pressures that youth today experience. It was created out of a burden to bring hope and light to what is an increasingly dark time in NZ history. We have a very real problem in this generation where statistically every 67 hours a young person takes their life across New Zealand. It’s time to talk.

You will experience an uplifting performance that is sure to make you laugh, cry, and leave encouraged, as it highlights hope and freedom.

Written, directed and performed by local talent. The Great Escape is not a production to be missed.
